On this trip, we will be stopping in 3 Colombian cities, Santa Marta, Medellin, and Cartagena. Cartagena, a gorgeous fishing village on Colombia’s Caribbean coast, has excellent beaches, a historic old town (that’s entirely walkable), and beautiful colonial architecture, Medellín, once dubbed “the most dangerous city in the world,” has become a travel hot spot for fine dining, trendy bars and, of course, world-class coffee. Get ready to begin this wanderlust adventure with Happistart.

Arrive to hotel and check in
This will be arrival day, no activities will be scheduled for this day as you get acquainted with your home for the next 8 days
Day 2
Explore Catagena
Zócalos town, home to the magnificent Peñol Rock (La Piedra del Peñol) on a full-day tour from the City of Eternal Spring. In addition to ascending the 742 steps that lead to the top of the Roca del Peñol (La Piedra del Peñol), you will explore the colorful streets of Guatapé and the famous Zócalos de Guatapé, as well as an exclusive boat tour of Lake Guatapé.
Day 3
Visit La Communa 13
Guided tour of transformation through Communa 13 its main neighborhoods, graffiti galleries made throughout the commune, art and a tour of electric scales.
Day 4
Transfer to Cartagena
Today we transfer from Medellin to Cartagena, travelers will have the afternoon free to explore the new city

Volcan de Tututmo
Totumo Mud Volcano is a one-of-a-kind attraction home to mineral-infused mud that’s reputed to have healing properties.

Rosario Islands
Escape to the picturesque paradise of the Rosario Islands on a delightful day-trip from Cartagena. Experience the idyllic splendor of the iridescent water and silken sands as you cruise to the alluring archipelago.
