The Grand Africa Experience is a multi-country journey connecting the heritage of West Africa, the wildlife and landscapes of East Africa, the natural wonders of the Victoria Falls region, the culture and scenery of South Africa and the beaches of Mauritius.

Travelers may complete the full journey from Ghana to Mauritius or select a shorter package featuring the destinations that best match their interests and available travel dates.

The experience combines cultural exploration, safari adventures, regional flights, carefully selected accommodations, group dining experiences and time to enjoy some of Africa’s most memorable coastal destinations.

The complete journey is scheduled for June 15 to July 13, 2027. Package dates, arrival cities and departure cities will vary based on the option selected.

International airfare is not included. Travelers will receive official flight instructions confirming the required arrival and departure times for their selected package. Travelers should keep the day before their package begins and the day after their package ends available to accommodate international flight schedules, overnight connections and possible travel changes.

This trip has been designed with multiple package options, allowing travelers to join the experience for one country, a combination of destinations or the complete journey.

Each package has its own dates, accommodation, regional transportation, activities and price. Travelers should review the inclusions listed under their selected package carefully before booking.

International airfare to the first destination and from the final destination is not included in the package price.

Travelers may purchase their international flights independently after Happistart provides the official arrival and departure instructions for the selected package or Happistart can assit with booking.

International flights should not be booked before the instructions are issued. Happistart will provide the required airport, arrival window, departure window and recommended flight routing where applicable.

Regional flights required to travel between the destinations included in the selected package are included unless otherwise stated.

Accommodation

Accommodation is included in the destinations covered by your selected package.

The planned hotels for this journey include 4 star and above properties located centrally in each city

Package pricing is based on two travelers sharing a room. Travelers who prefer private accommodation must select the Solo Room Upgrade, subject to availability.

Room types, bedding configurations and hotel assignments are subject to availability. Happistart may replace a listed hotel with a comparable property where necessary.

Standard hotel check-in and check-out times apply. Early check-in, late check-out and additional hotel nights required because of international flight schedules are not included unless specifically added to the reservation.

Travelers are responsible for meeting the passport, visa, vaccination and entry requirements for every destination included in their selected package.

Depending on the package selected, travelers may require entry approval for Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, South Africa and Mauritius.

Requirements vary according to nationality, passport type, country of residence, and the destinations included in the package.

Travelers should ensure that their passport:

• Is valid for at least six months beyond the final travel date

• Has sufficient blank pages for immigration stamps and visas

• Matches the name entered on the booking and airline reservations

• Is not damaged or reported lost or stolen

Happistart will provide general visa guidance and application timelines. Travelers must submit requested documents by the stated deadlines and remain responsible for the accuracy and completeness of their applications.

A visa or travel authorization does not guarantee entry. Final admission is determined by immigration officials at the border.

Visa fees, entry permits, consular charges and related expenses are not included unless specifically stated in the selected package.

Weather conditions will vary significantly throughout the journey.

Ghana is generally warm and humid, with tropical temperatures and possible rainfall.

Kenya and Tanzania may have warm daytime temperatures with cooler early mornings and evenings, particularly during safari activities. Travelers should also prepare for dust and changing conditions in safari areas.

Zanzibar is warm and tropical, with high humidity and strong sun.

Victoria Falls and Kruger may have pleasant daytime temperatures with significantly cooler mornings and evenings.

Cape Town will be experiencing winter conditions. Travelers should prepare for cool temperatures, wind and possible rain.

Mauritius is generally mild and tropical, with warm days and cooler evenings.

Travelers should pack layers and prepare for both warm tropical conditions and cooler safari or winter weather.

The trip includes selected meals and dining experiences according to the package booked.

Depending on the selected package, this may include welcome dinners, farewell dinners, safari dining experiences, the Boma Dinner, island dining and other meals specifically identified in the itinerary.

Meals and beverages not specifically listed as included are at the traveler’s expense.

Travelers should budget US $50-100 per day for personal meals, snacks, alcoholic beverages and dining during leisure periods.

Dietary requests should be submitted during registration. Happistart will communicate requests to the relevant hotels, restaurants and suppliers, but special meals cannot be guaranteed in every destination.

Travelers with severe allergies should travel with appropriate medication and communicate directly with service providers before consuming meals.

Travelers should pack for tropical weather, safari conditions, cooler mornings, Cape Town winter weather and island activities.

Regional flights may have stricter luggage allowances than international airlines. Travelers should avoid overpacking and review the final baggage instructions before departure.

This is an active, multi-destination journey involving regional flights, airport transfers, safari drives, early departures and extended travel days.

Travelers should be comfortable with:

• Frequent hotel changes

• Multiple airport procedures

• Early morning departures

• Long road transfers

• Safari vehicles and uneven terrain

• Walking on uneven surfaces

• Warm weather and humidity

• Dusty safari conditions

• Cooler mornings and evenings

Some activities may not be suitable for travelers with limited mobility or certain medical conditions.

Travelers are responsible for assessing their ability to participate and should consult a medical professional before booking where necessary.

The itinerary may be adjusted because of weather, wildlife conditions, flight schedules, local regulations, supplier availability or other circumstances outside Happistart’s control.

All package prices are quoted per person in United States dollars.

Payments must be made through the official WeTravel booking page.

Travelers may pay the total package price in full or select an available payment plan at checkout.

The deposit shown during booking secures the traveler’s place and is applied toward the total package cost.

Payment schedules and final balance deadlines will be displayed before checkout and included in the traveler’s booking confirmation.

Travelers are responsible for monitoring their payment plan and ensuring that scheduled payments are completed on time.

Bank charges, currency conversion fees and card-provider fees are the traveler’s responsibility.

Failure to complete payments by the stated deadlines may result in:

• Late fees

• Suspension of booking services

• Cancellation of the reservation

• Loss of amounts already paid, subject to the applicable terms

International airfare is not included. Travelers should not purchase flights until Happistart issues the official arrival and departure instructions for the selected package.

Booking and Acceptance

By submitting a booking or making any payment, the traveler confirms that they have reviewed and accepted these Terms and Conditions, the selected package details, payment schedule, cancellation policy and the full Happistart Travel Services Agreement.

A reservation is confirmed only after Happistart receives the required deposit.

Package Inclusions

The package includes only the accommodation, transportation, flights, transfers, meals, activities and services specifically listed as included under the selected package.

International airfare, visas, entry authorizations, vaccinations, optional activities, additional baggage, personal expenses and any service not expressly listed are excluded unless otherwise stated.

Pricing and Payment

All prices are quoted per person in United States dollars and are based on the selected package, room occupancy, group size and supplier rates available at the time of booking.

Payments must be completed according to the schedule shown during checkout. Failure to pay by the required deadline may result in cancellation of the reservation and the application of cancellation fees and supplier penalties.

Merchant, banking, installment, currency-conversion and third-party processing fees may apply and may be nonrefundable.

Supplier increases may result in a price adjustment of up to 20% of the quoted package price, provided the traveler is notified in writing no later than 45 days before departure.

Rooming and Occupancy

Package pricing is based on the occupancy selected at booking.

If a roommate cancels, withdraws or fails to complete payment, the remaining traveler may be required to pay the applicable solo occupancy supplement or any additional supplier cost.

Room types, bedding arrangements, hotel layouts and room assignments remain subject to supplier availability.

Changes to the Itinerary

Group travel requires flexibility. Happistart may reasonably adjust the itinerary, activity order, transportation, meeting times, accommodations, room assignments or suppliers because of operational requirements, weather, safety concerns, government restrictions or supplier availability.

Final arrangements may differ from preliminary or advertised itineraries. Comparable alternatives will be arranged where reasonably possible.

No refund or credit will be provided where a traveler voluntarily misses, declines or fails to participate in an included activity, transfer, accommodation or other service.

Cancellations

All cancellation requests must be submitted to Happistart in writing.

The following cancellation charges apply:

• More than 45 days before departure: loss of the deposit and any nonrefundable supplier charges.

• Between 45 and 30 days before departure: 75% of the total package price is nonrefundable.

• Less than 30 days before departure: 100% of the total package price is nonrefundable.

Customized group travel is nonrefundable and nontransferable within 30 days of departure.

An administrative cancellation fee of up to US$350 per traveler may also apply, in addition to supplier penalties and nonrefundable charges.

Refund Processing

Any approved refund will be processed only after Happistart receives the refundable funds from the applicable airline, hotel, tour operator, payment processor or other supplier.

Supplier, banking and payment-processing timelines may cause refunds to take several weeks or months.

Administrative fees, insurance costs, merchant fees, visa fees, supplier penalties and nonrefundable deposits may be deducted from any approved refund.

Any refundable balance must be requested in writing within 30 days of cancellation.

Travel Documents and Entry Requirements

The traveler is responsible for obtaining and maintaining all passports, visas, electronic travel authorizations, transit permits, vaccination records and supporting documents required for the selected trip.

Happistart does not guarantee visa approval, airline boarding, transit approval or entry into any country. Final decisions are made by the relevant embassy, airline, immigration authority or government agency.

Happistart is not responsible for losses arising from incorrect information, insufficient passport validity, missing documents, visa refusal, denied boarding or denied entry.

Traveler Health and Participation

The traveler confirms that they are medically and physically able to participate in the selected trip and activities.

Medical conditions, mobility limitations, allergies, dietary requirements, pregnancy or other conditions that may affect participation must be disclosed before travel.

Participation in safari, water, adventure, wildlife or other physically demanding activities is voluntary and undertaken at the traveler’s own risk.

Traveler Conduct

Travelers must act lawfully, respectfully and safely throughout the trip and comply with Happistart’s instructions, group schedules and local laws.

Happistart may refuse or terminate participation where a traveler’s behaviour is unsafe, abusive, threatening, disruptive, discriminatory, intoxicated, illegal or harmful to staff, suppliers or other travelers.

A traveler removed for conduct or safety reasons will not receive a refund and will be responsible for all additional accommodation, transportation, airline, legal or repatriation expenses.

Independent Travel Arrangements

Happistart is not responsible for conflicts, missed services, delays or additional expenses caused by flights, hotels, transfers, activities or other services independently arranged outside the confirmed group itinerary.

Travelers must follow the official arrival and departure instructions issued for their selected package.

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance coverage is subject to the conditions, limits and exclusions of the issued policy.

Travelers are responsible for reviewing their coverage and purchasing additional cancellation, medical, evacuation, baggage or activity coverage where necessary.

Communications

Travelers consent to receiving important information by email, WhatsApp, SMS, WeTravel, client portal or other digital channels used by Happistart.

Travelers are responsible for monitoring all communication channels, including spam and junk folders. Failure to read a message does not remove payment, documentation or travel obligations.

Privacy and Media

Happistart may collect and share personal information with airlines, hotels, embassies, insurers, payment processors, government agencies and other suppliers where reasonably necessary to provide the booked services.

Happistart may photograph or record the traveler during the group experience for operational, promotional and marketing purposes.

After selecting a package, travelers must complete the registration form using their full legal name exactly as it appears in their passport.

To complete the booking:

1. Select the preferred package.

2. Select any applicable room or service upgrades.

3. Complete the traveler information form.

4. Review the package details and payment schedule.

5. Pay the required deposit or full package amount.

6. Review the automated payment receipt.

Once approved, the traveler will receive confirmation and further instructions regarding passports, visas, flight arrangements, payment deadlines and pre-departure preparation.

Travelers should immediately report any spelling errors, incorrect dates or inaccurate personal information shown on their booking.

Travel to Cape Town and experience Table Mountain, the city, the Cape Peninsula and the Cape Winelands Wine Tram. Travel to the Kruger region and participate in a full-day safari experience.
