Visa-Free Travel – No visa is required for most nationalities to enter Peru.

Passport Validity Rule – Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months after your departure from Peru. This is a strict requirement enforced by the Peruvian government.

Important Note: Travelers who do not meet the passport validity requirement may be denied entry at immigration. Please check your passport’s expiration date before booking.

Vaccination Requirements: 💉
✔️ No mandatory vaccinations for Peru. However, we recommend the Yellow Fever vaccine if you plan to visit jungle regions.

Booking & Payment Structure

Each reservation requires a non refundable and non transferable deposit of US $250 per traveler at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due according to the payment schedule outlined for your selected experience.

Your reservation is considered confirmed once the deposit has been received and processed by Happistart Travel. By submitting payment, the traveler agrees to all booking terms, conditions, cancellation policies, supplier policies, and payment requirements associated with the experience.

Deposits remain non refundable and non transferable under all circumstances, including promotional offers, discounted rates, changes in personal circumstances, visa denials, schedule conflicts, or voluntary cancellation by the traveler.

Pricing & Rate Adjustments

All package pricing is based on current airfare, hotel availability, supplier contracts, fuel costs, exchange rates, taxes, tourism levies, and operational costs at the time of quotation.

Happistart Travel reserves the right to adjust package pricing up to 45 days before departure in the event of increases related to airfare, government taxes, hotel rates, supplier charges, transportation costs, currency fluctuations, or operational expenses.

Any pricing adjustment exceeding 20% of the original package price will provide the traveler with the option to cancel their reservation without additional cancellation penalties beyond unrecoverable supplier costs already incurred.

All pricing adjustments will be communicated in writing.

Balance Payments & Payment Compliance

The remaining trip balance must be fully paid no later than 30 days before departure unless otherwise stated in writing.

Payments received after the outlined due date may incur a late payment fee of US $200 for every additional 10 day period the account remains overdue.

Travelers who fail to maintain payment compliance without an approved payment extension risk cancellation of their reservation and release of their space back into inventory.

If a reservation is canceled due to non payment, any refund issued will remain subject to supplier cancellation policies, operational expenses already incurred, and the cancellation structure outlined below.

Late Sign Up Policy

Travelers booking after the official signup deadline may be subject to a late signup fee of US $350 in addition to the standard deposit and package cost. Late bookings are also subject to flight and hotel availability at the time of confirmation.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Outside 45 Days Before Departure

Travelers canceling outside of 45 days before departure may receive a refund minus the non refundable deposit, a US $500 cancellation fee, and any unrecoverable supplier expenses already incurred on the traveler’s behalf, including flights, hotel deposits, attraction tickets, permit purchases, transportation reservations, administrative costs, and third party operational expenses.

45 to 30 Days Before Departure

75% of the total package cost becomes non refundable within 45 to 30 days before departure due to supplier penalties and secured travel arrangements.

30 Days to Departure

All payments become fully non refundable within 30 days of departure.

Supplier Terms & Third Party Policies

All refunds remain subject to the terms and conditions of airlines, hotels, rail providers, activity operators, ticketing agencies, insurance providers, transportation companies, and all third party suppliers connected to the itinerary.

Happistart Travel cannot override supplier imposed penalties, restrictions, or non refundable policies.

Force Majeure & Exceptional Circumstances

Happistart Travel shall not be held responsible for delays, cancellations, interruptions, modifications, losses, or additional expenses resulting from circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather, political unrest, government restrictions, strikes, border closures, public health emergencies, airline disruptions, acts of terrorism, or force majeure events.

Requests related to severe illness or death of an immediate family member may be reviewed on a case by case basis and must be supported by official documentation. Approval of any exception remains solely at the discretion of Happistart Travel and applicable suppliers.

Payment Terms & Processing

Happistart Travel offers multiple payment methods for traveler convenience. Certain alternative payment methods may incur additional transaction or processing fees.

Travelers are responsible for ensuring payments are submitted on time and in accordance with their selected payment plan.

Failure to maintain payment compliance without written approval may result in cancellation of the reservation and forfeiture of payments already made.

Media Release Agreement

By participating in a Happistart Travel experience, travelers grant Happistart Travel and its partners permission to capture and utilize photographs, video recordings, audio recordings, livestream footage, and other media content during the trip for promotional, marketing, social media, advertising, editorial, and commercial purposes without compensation or additional approval.

Important Travel Requirements

Travelers are responsible for ensuring their passport remains valid for at least 6 months beyond the conclusion of the trip unless otherwise stated by destination specific immigration authorities.

Travelers are also responsible for reviewing visa requirements, vaccination requirements, entry regulations, baggage policies, and destination advisories prior to departure.

Participation in adventure, altitude, water based, desert, hiking, wildlife, or physically demanding activities is voluntary and undertaken at the traveler’s own discretion and risk.

Happistart Travel strongly recommends reviewing all itinerary details, activity difficulty levels, climate conditions, and physical requirements before booking.
